Urgent Requirement for the position of Oracle Apps

Location: Mumbai
Position: Contract to hire
Experience/Skill Sets:

Master/Bachelors in Engineering
6-8 yrs of extensive experience working in an Oracle E-business environment.
Knowledge of administering Oracle 9i,10g Databases.
Knowledge of administering Oracle Applications Release 11i,12.
Experience working with TOAD, Harvest, ITG Mercury, Data Migration tools like data pump, SQL* Loader etc
Familiarity with VCS backups, Unix and PLSQL scripting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Requirements:
Database administration, installation and upgrade expertise in 9i,10g and 11g.
Hands on experience in Veritas (Symantec) NetBackup, Oracle backup and recovery techniques.
Experience in System Administration, cloning and troubleshooting of Oracle Applications release 11i, 12.
Good understanding of Applications architecture and technology stack.
Performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle databases and ERP applications.
Hands on experience with tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, Harvest, ITG Mercury, TOAD.
Experience working with Windows and Linux based Oracle environments.
Familiarity with Unix and PLSQL scripting.
Experience working in a helpdesk like systems to resolve technical issues.
Oracle DBA Certification in 9i/10g/11g is a plus.
