Hi all

i've completed all setup steps exept dimension mapping dont know how to set top node for financial category can anyone help me with this please

Info u might require

*we have single balancing segment
*Single Chart of account
* three operating units
* using Departments as the Cost Center

When i run initial load Request set it ends with error and the error is

Some local value sets defined in Dimension Mapping Rules for this dimension have not been mapped to the master value set using Financial Dimension Hierarchy Manager (FDHM).
== Unmapped Local Value Set ==== Chart of Accounts ==
AASML_ACCOUNT AASML_FLEXFIELD
Some values have multiple parents.

Can anyone help me with this plz i might be doing something wrong so plz guide me how to do the mapping

Hi,

Drag the value ehich is to be defined as final node to right hand side and right click on that.Select define as Top nod.Drag in the sameway all other parent values and attach to the top nod and assign attributes by right clicking on each parent value.Finally drag child values to respective parent values.
Run Intial Load.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

You need not to assign any attributes to the top node pls.Assign attributes to Parent values only and run Intial Load.The attributes assigned to parent values will default to respective child values automatically after intial load run.
