Unable to make Inactive bank branch active

Hi,
I am unalbe to change one inactive branch of a bank to active branch. Whenver I am deleting the inactive date or changing it to someother date and saving it system is giving error message :
"You cannot set this class code as primary because its date range overlaps with an existing primary class code in the same class category."
If any body know the solution of this issue please let me know as soon as possible. Its really urgent.
