In Oracle Apps 11i, we have created a transaction type of <b>Opening Balance</b> Receipt into Stores. Using this transaction type opening balances were entered through the <b>miscellaneous transaction</b> form.
The fields: item, subinventory, unit of measure, account, quantity, unit cost, attribute3, attribute4 (as packing list/case no respectively) were entered/inserted to the mtl_material_transactions table .
Some records were entered with wrong quantity and unit cost data.
How can I update these transaction from the front end?

The suitable way to correct these transactions are make a reversal miscellaneous transaction for these items.
If you make a receipt transaction, now make a issue transactions with the same data (wrong data) then re-enter the data with right elements.

If you can do this reversal in the same period it's very wonderful but if you can't, reverse the transaction in period (Jun-10) & re-enter the right transaction in the same period (Jun-10).
