in UK HRMS Manager-Work Structure-GradeRate

Name :Annual Leave  Unit:Days
 
Grade Rate Values
Grade Name    Value  Effective date
 
SS01              25     01-JAN-1990

SS03              25
SS04              25
SS05              25
SS06              25
SS07              25
SS08              25
SS09              25
PS-10             30
PS-11             30
PS-12             30
PS-13             30
AM-14            35
AM-15            35

as per the new labour law it is mandatory all employees get 30 days annual leave so the client wants the annual leave value for grades from SS01 to SS09 to be changed to 30 from the inital 25,shud the effective date be changed too?

will this affect the payroll or the financial module ,can we manually change it to 30
could someone guide?

could someone pls guide me on this if its ok to change the leave from 25 to 30

could someone pls guide me on changing the leave days avaialble for employees

Can you be more specific in your question please?
Besides, do you use grade rate screen for defining annual leave entitlement? or it is within a fast formula?

and for the effect on the payroll module, for sure, there will be an effect on annual leave provisions which also will impact the financial module.

Hi,
The effective date will be automatically set once you will update and save and hope you will implement this change from the start of new year not mid of year?
