Hello All,

I am trying to enter a VAT registration number for my Legal entity in Legal entity manager (configurator). However I repeatedly get the error "Please enter a VALID tax registration number" for every attempt. I tried checking the valid format for Greece , an example of which is EL 012345678. But however even this is not accepted. Please guide me with this issue and let me know what is the cause and well as the resolution for this. This is crucial to me and hope to get very quick answers from you.

I too am getting this an really need a solution.

We have about 100 customers which we cannot allocate VAT codes to - every time I try to assigne VAT code i get Please enter a valid tax registration number.

Granted the Tax Registration Number is populated but this is what we have been given and how would Oracle know it's validity.

Spainish company - format = SP 012345678

I have solved on our system by removing value in 'Default Reporting Registration Number'

You say by removing the default registration number, your problem is resolved. Can you give me clearly the steps by which you managed this?
