Purdue University has built an elite IT team to develop NEEShub, a cutting-edge, requirements-driven Cyberinfrastructure platform. This platform supports community efforts to transform research and education in Earthquake Engineering. We are looking for highlymotivated, creative, and innovative professionals to join us in this exciting and fast-paced effort. This high-profile project involves team-based work with science/engineering experts around the world to build web software and middleware for scientific research, education, and collaboration.
The NEESComm Database Administrator (DBA) will be a critical part of the NEESComm IT team. The DBA will plan, coordinate and administer matters related to current and proposed NEEShub databases. Additionally, the DBA will provide regular performance tuning support for NEEShub Databases and will formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards.
