Need help on Sales default account?

Hi Guys,
I 've a doubt on Sales account.
While defining the inventory org we should have to give the sales account.
And
While defining the transaction type in AR we do create revenue account on transaction types.
Can you please tel me where exactly we do use sales account which we defined in inventory org?
