Hi,

In vision instance , there are two receipts write off available

1. receipt write off : 01-000-4150-0000-000 = Revenue
2. claim receipt write off :01-000-1210-0000-000= Asset

They both belong to different account types , so my questions is

when creating an receipt and i wanted to do receipt write off which receipt write off has to be used as both belong to different account types

Hi Sudharshan,

You can use Receipt write off (Revenue) when you got Gain on receive.
eg. receipt amount is greater than invoice such as a decimal amount.

And you Receipt write off (Asset) when you got Gain on sale of assets (after performed retirement of asset)
