Grade Proration

Hi
How i can prorate by grade changes in the middle of the month.Actually there is 10 allowance which is based on the grade and we are using table value to store the value for those grade based allowances include also the basic salary.My issue is when the grade changes all these allowance has be prorated form the previous and new grade
Does anyone has an idea how we can proceed with it?
