Reverse the receipt.Either standard or debit memo reversal r there.

Thats the thing,it is still not trnsferred to GL.It doesnt allow me to incomplete even.If it allowed me to incomplete i would have done.How can I do the necessary changes.

There is no problem with the prorate conventions,specially cz it was
purchased a long time ago,

How can i check whether if its having a diffrent calendar assighned?
Isnt it common for the whole asset book?

Cost- 35,191.00
NBV- 17,595.50
Date in service -25-JUN-2001
Life - 10 years
Remaining life -3 years and 4 months

BUT depreciation has not been charged from jun 2007 on wards,

Hop this issue is still there!!

I think this happens when the payment and the void dates are in two accounting periods.Pls run the payables accounting process covering both the payment and the voided dates.

Go to set up>Approvals>Approval Groups and create a new approval group.Under object, Select item category range..and give the amount limit and the high low values...
